Data mining is one of the processes used by companies to curate the advertisements presented to the consumers. Data mining according to Twin (2020) is a process used by companies to turn raw data into useful information. Data mining is done by using software to look for patterns in large batches of data, businesses can learn more about their customers to develop more effective marketing strategies, increase sales and decrease costs.
Data mining and business intelligence play an important role in organizations. These tools and processes help organizations to analyze costumer behavior, track the organization's performance, optimize operations, and ultimately to identify ways to increase profit.

In big corporations like the Ayala Group of Companies, where they are involved in real estate, telecommunications, energy, apparel, and many others, the use of Business Intelligence helps in targeting potential customers by extracting, translating, integrating and analyzing their data to predict market behaviors.
